ICYMI, this announcement from Daiso has been circulating the internet, confirming that the increase of petrol prices isn’t the only price hike that’s happening in Malaysia thus far.
Daiso Japan made the announcement that they will be increasing their retail pricing from RM5.30 to RM5.90 per item, beginning March 2017. Which left most of us die-hard Daiso fans (and our wallets) like this:
Though most of us might feel like the 60 cents hike is unreasonable, it’s important to note that the price increase is fair especially considering that the Ringgit is at its lowest since 1998. So brace yourselves, my loves. We’re predicting a whole lot of price increases this 2017 as the economy hits turbulent waters.
And it’s about damn time for us all to be extra thrifty.
