Founded by two ladies who simply loved playing with makeup, Benefit Cosmetics has certainly turned into a global brand that all women every where can rely on for their beauty needs.
Besides their unique and extremely chic packaging, Benefit understands that women love it when makeup works and when they’re fuss-free because let’s face it, we’re not all makeup artists. Nothing is quite as rewarding as paying for a product that actually does what you want it to!
Thanks to the kind folks at Benefit, I was able to play around with some of their products and I’ve decided to pick 5 of the best. Here are the reasons why these 5 Benefit items are my favourite:
Gimme Brow
There’s not a lot of brow tools or products that actually delivers on the promise that it makes but Gimme Brow is definitely one of the rare few. Like a mascara, the Gimme Brow is as simple as unscrewing the top and brushing the wand against your brows. I think this works best for those with already thick eyebrows because it helps organise stray hairs, and leave your brows looking neat and well-kept.
Benetint
Before I got my hands on this product, I heard unbelievable amount of good reviews about it but I was still skeptical. That was until I got to try it for myself. I love how easy this product is and how versatile it is. Dabbing a few drops on your cheekbones and lips will instantly add some natural colour to your face. This has definitely become one of the must-have items in my makeup bag.
They’re Real! Mascara
This particular item is not one of their superstar products for nothing. Benefit really hit the jackpot with this mascara. I think what’s really special about this mascara is not just it’s formula alone but the unique wand that it comes with. It’s pretty amazing the kind of length and volume it gives your lashes after one application. Any beauty geek should try this out that’s for sure. Now, if only Benefit made this mascara waterproof…
Puff Off
Besides the unique packaging, I just love how simple this Puff Off eye by Benefit is. This product has been designed to smooth out fine lines and as the name suggests, de-puff them eyes. At the same time it also cools and soothes your eye area. The angled iron-shaped nozzle makes it very easy to apply and the metal tip of course, cools and massages your puffy eyes. You don’t even have to worry about leakage, all you got to remember is not to squeeze too much or you will end up wasting the product.
The POREfessional
This POREfessional balm swears to make your pores disappear and give your face a smooth finish, which is exactly what it does. For the kind of humid climate that we live in, this product is the perfect one to have because it gives you the kind of matte finish you want that stays on all day. It also acts as a moisturiser so you can use this on it’s own, dab on some mascara and you’re set for the day. The best part is, the POREfessional is suitable for all skin types!
