MTV has announced the first batch of performers for the “2012 MTV EMA,”set to take the stage in Germany! We know that Heidi Klum will the host of the evening, but who are the performers going to be?
Global superstar Taylor Swift will perform at her first ever MTV EMA. Rock stars Muse, whose last album topped the charts in 19 countries and who have sold more than 15 million albums to date, will return to the MTV EMA stage with a performance from their sixth studio album “The 2nd Law,” which is released this week. And what is the most exciting of all, since they just released their first new album in 11 years, “Push and Shove,” No Doubt will bring their California ska style to the EMA festivities!
So yes, Taylor Swift, Muse and No Doubt are the performers that are confirmed to be perform at the EMA’s!
Taylor Swift said, “I’ve always wanted to go to the EMA, because you hear about the spectacle of it, and how everyone just goes all out for their performances. To be nominated for five EMAs was the most exciting feeling, and I was absolutely blown away. I can’t wait to be there this year and perform on the show!”
“We’re really looking forward to returning to perform on the MTV EMA stage. See you all in Frankfurt for a great night of music,” said Muse.
No Doubt said: “The EMA is massive. Everyone is in top form. It’s going to be an amazing time and a chance for us to show to the world why we’re so proud of our new album. And it’s always awesome to do what we love most, which is play live. We’re really excited to be a part of it.”
