For the first time in almost a decade, Kuala Lumpur is opening its doors to what is said to be the most anticipated New Year’s Eve party ever! This year end (as if there are not enough absolutely kickin’ parties already!), electronic dance music (EDM) fans will see not one, but four international DJs who are all coming together to bring you mind-blowing performances on New Year’s Eve!
With two party rooms, in none other than The Atrium & KL Live at Life Centre, Kuala Lumpur, “ESCAPE: NYE” promises everyone a night to remember as they usher in the new year. Invading the spaces would be our local acts and Malaysia’s most loved DJs, GBX (DJ Goldfish, DJ Blink, and Xu).
Then, taking it up a notch would be some of the legends of EDM whose names are just all too familiar to their fans.
First on the list is Dutch tech-trance architect, Marco V, who has established himself as one of the most inventive, diverse and creative electronic music minds working today. If you want good party vibes and someone who pushes the boundary of music to its edges, then he’s the fully-fledged electronic music phenomena you’re looking for!
Following which (and this is probably one person fans have all been waiting to see live), Anjunabeats’ golden boy Mat Zo will take over. Not only is this extremely boyish looking British progressive dance music “Superman” naturally talented and musically inclined, he has also churned tune after tune that has pricked the ears of EDM lovers all around the world:

And last but not least, from halfway across the world, one person will step up during the party to bring you essential mixes and his personal selection of music to get your groove on. Yes, it’s world-renowned English DJ for BBC Radio 1 and one of England’s most recognised DJs, Pete Tong. Armed with engaging tunes and a charismatic showmanship, this music maestro is going to make party goers see fireworks!
