As ladies, we go through different sets of emotions every single minute. Being angry in the mornings once in awhile is fine but imagine giving your kids and spouse a hard time everyday just because you can’t control your emotions? Here are some simple tips which you could use to make your mornings better.
Get enough of sleep
Ever thought that maybe one of the reasons you are constantly irritated or angry is because your body is tired? Plan your time well and ensure you get at least 8 hours of sleep everyday. Your organs and mind needs the rest.
Wake up half an hour earlier
Give your body time to relax and calm down in the mornings by waking up half an hour earlier. You can either choose to roll on the bed a few times or just lay down and have empty thoughts before you start your day.
Avoid last minute work
Nothing can be worst than getting up in the morning and finding your house in a mess. The dishes are not washed, the floor hasn’t been swept and your laundry hasn’t been done. No matter how tired you are the night before, finish your house chores the day before so that your blood pressure would not rise ten times more in the morning.
Create positive energy around you
According to Psych Central, the more you pay attention to your emotions, the more you are actually feeding on it. The more you assume that your day is going to be bad, the higher the chances of it turning out to be bad. To motivate yourself in the mornings, place an inspirational quote which you like right beside your bed lamp. You get up, you read it and you will find yourself partially motivated already.
Get yourself some scented candles
Not only does it make you sleep better, it will help you to wake up better as well. According to Squiddo.com, citrus scents are the best to boost your energy early in the morning and to calm you down. Light up a scented candle just before you enter the bathroom and see how different you feel once you step back into the room.
