The latest look at director, Michael Bay’s Transformers: Age of Extinction highlights a whole new tone — much darker and more action-packed fill, fans, we think you just might love this.
Set to premier on June 27th, Mark Wahlberg plays a single father and struggling mechanic, trying to support his daughter Tessa (Nicola Peltz) and protect her from race car driver boyfriend, Shane (Jack Reynor).
The highly anticipated fourth instalment of the Transformers franchise is set four years after the climatic battle between the Autobots and Decepticons.
“We really are going to do a reboot there, and what that’s going to be we don’t even know yet,” said producer Lorenzo Di Bonaventura in an interview with MTV. “It’s a hybrid…It’s an evolution. There’s still continuity that’s going on, and yet there’ll be a lot of new cast.”
