The Stuff Cover Girl Search is back again this year to look for the perfect chick to grace not only its front cover but also for a fashion spread. Last year’s winner Wendy Lean took the crown and walked away with RM10,000 worth of prizes and if you want to follow her footsteps and make your break in the world of print, then read on to find out more.
This year, Stuff magazine Malaysia is collaborating with “Touch” by Perfect World, a new 3D dancing web game that uses the Unity3D engine technology with the main theme of music and dance entertainment along with other features such as customising in-game characters based on fashion apparels, make-up styles and more. This year’s search will be slightly different from the previous year, whereby participants have to accomplish certain tasks given based on a few elements of the game.
Besides that, Amber Chia Academy (ACA) will be working hand in hand with Stuff Magazine as the official modeling academy. ACA will be involved in catwalk and self-presentation training, hair and make-up training as well as the judging process. Amber Chia, one of the best models in Malaysia and also the owner of ACA along with Benjamin Toong, the renowned catwalk guru, will be attending the Stuff Cover Search 2013 Grand Finale as judges.
Submission entries will begin in October via three channels, namely, Stuff Malaysia Facebook, Stuff Malaysia’s email (stuff@catchacorp.com) and ground stops at a few selected colleges such as Taylor’s University College, Sunway University College and many more.
The criteria of this Stuff Cover Girl Search 2013 are:
- Female 18 – 25 years old
- Height must be at least 165cm
**Submission of Stuff Cover Girl Search 2013 Form with supporting documents (full-length body photo and close-up photo)
24 semi-finalists will be selected from the entries received by a group of judges from Catcha Publishing and representatives from “Touch” by Perfect World. The semi-finalists will be narrowed down to 12 finalists who will be involved in various online and on ground promotional activities before proceeding to the grand finale.
