Twitter has announced in a press release that its video app Vine will be discontinued in the coming months. With that said, Vines will continue to exist.
Users will still be able to access and download their Vines, and will be notified before Twitter makes any changes to the app or website.
Vine kickstarted the short-form video craze that is now being continued with apps like Instagram and Snapchat. This comes as a bummer to viral Vine creators who have proceeded to make real careers, such as Shawn Mendes.
