Seth Rogen and his pal Evan Goldberg just unveiled a brilliant trailer for their R-rated animated comedy, Sausage Party, and we cannot wait to watch the movie!
What seems to be an innocent, feel-good opening for the trailer turns into a horrific and vulgar mayhem when a group of groceries that think being chosen by humans is their great purpose in life realise that their fate involves being chopped up, sliced and devoured by the very same humans.
It’s essentially a animation comedy for grownups, but witnessing an anthropomorphic potato get skinned alive in front of his other grocery friends is pretty gruesome, no lie.
Rogen is part of the voice cast alongside James Franco, Paul Rudd, Jonah Hill, Salma Hayek, Kristen Wiig and more. Watch the trailer for Sausage Party here:
