Crystals sparkled, jaws simultaneously dropped, and even A-list celebrities were left gawking today during the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2011. New York City was officially, for one night only, the land of the beautiful as gorgeous, statuesque “Angels” hit the catwalk, one after another, clad in Victoria’s Secret most luxurious lingerie.
It was a sight to behold, and to envy.
Months of grueling preparations, fittings, rehearsals, extreme workouts, and scary diets finally paid off just hours ago when they worked it down the runway gracefully and had the time of their lives. To some, it was work. To others, it was a lingerie party all on its own.
Let’s take a first look now at the world’s favourite “Angels”:
The star of the show was, of course, not any supermodel in particular, but the one item the audience have waited to see after months-long of media hype. The one lingerie spectacle that added to the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2011 eye-popping frenzy.
Worn by undoubtedly one of the most cherubic-looking “Angel” of our time and also the most recognizable supermodel, the “Fantasy Treasure” bra made its official debut in New York City as Miranda Kerr took the stage. Valued at a whopping USD25 million (RM7.75 million), the 142-carat bra with a 36-carat diamond centerpiece left mouths agape with wonderment. Intense!
Now, we’re not sure if the audience were marveling at the glamorous, diamond-studded “gear” or at the supermommy supermodel, but either way, it definitely sealed the deal for all lingerie fantasies.
