On Tuesday night in the US and in many countries around the globe, audiences were treated to the lingerie extravaganza. To many, it seemed like heaven was missing quite a few celestial beings as the “Angels” descended right into millions of televisions.
When we say, “millions”, we really do mean millions because according to Nielsen, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2011 has successfully garnered a total of 10.3 million viewers worldwide (about 15% increase from last year’s show).
Netting huge ratings for CBS network (the official broadcaster), it was obvious that despite many years in the running, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show has still got it. Well, we can’t disagree. The sexy runway event does feature some of the world’s most confident and most beautiful women, showered with glitter and dressed in Victoria’s Secret’s best.
And the smiles. Who can forget those winning smiles?
