It’s a proud day for us all as Cartoon Network just announced that popular Malaysian singer Shila Amzah will be singing the theme song for The Powerpuff Girls! The song will be in Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin, entitled “Whose Got The Power”.

The new theme song isn’t as upbeat as the one we know by heart from back in the ’90s, but there’s a little twist to it. You’ll need to stay tuned till Monday, May 2nd 2016 at 5:30PM on Cartoon Network (Astro Channel 616) to hear it!
Make sure to keep on the lookout for a new music video featuring Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup, alongside the voice of the lovely Shila Amzah. 😉
Supporting the TV series, Cartoon Network has also launched a Powerpuff Girls Avatar generator at www.PowerpuffYourself.com. A brand new game, called Flipped Out – The Powerpuff Girls, is out too on the Apple App Store.
