A 59-year-old mother had to endure one of the most agonizing experience ever when burglars raped her daughter after robbing their home in Batu Pahat.
Two armed men woke the mother and daughter up at 3.30am on 13th February, demanding for money. But when the mother could only hand them RM200 from her savings, they gagged both women and then dragged them out to the oil plantation.
The mother was tied up before one of the suspects raped her daughter, threatening to “slaughter her”. The mother then managed to free herself before alerting neighbors who then called the police.
The 29-year-old rape victim who had recently graduated from a university nearby, was sent to Sultanah Nora Ismail Hospital for treatment. Meanwhile, Batu Pahat police chief Assistant Commissioner Din Ahmad said a special task force has been sat up to find the culprits.
