For Fall/Winter 2016, New-Jersey based brand Tumi decided to travel to Japan for some fresh ideas. Japan is an island nation where tradition & modernity share space, which makes it perfect to inspire a stunning line-up on luxury travel and lifestyle accessories.
Japanese kanji brushstrokes are reinterpreted into a new character print for this season’s Alpha Bravo, Tegra- Lite and Sinclair assortments. The Japanese characters get an abstract treatment, translated into refreshing designs, as seen on the bags.
The bags are also infused with natural elements; in a mix of bold prints and rich jewel hues that adorn the bags. We also see hints of florals and camo.
