It’s that time of the year again, where the runways get filled with new collections and designers come out of their hiding.
Ofcourse, everyone in the world can’t go to that one special location like New York or Milan to catch the shows – so, it’s all come online. But the problem with going online, the quality of the footage is so different and rarely do they show you more than just a semi-blurry, front camera view. But, the room for improvement is coming in and Topshop is taking the initiative to do something about it.
The UK brand is engineering a unique and multi-platform show experience for online viewers, and this time, they are partnering with Google to do. Just in time for the show at Tate Modern on Sunday for London Fashion Week.
Topshop is calling it “The Future of the Fashion, ” and it has been designed to let the audiences see the show from every single point of view – from the models on the runway, to makeup artists backstage and even the celebrities and buyers in the front row.
Leading up to the show that is set, several models including Cara Delevingne and Jourdan Dunn will be keeping ‘digital diaries’ on their own Google+ accounts which will let you follow them through the entire fashion week series up until the final walk.
To top off the experience, Topshop will be hosting a viewers Q&A session with the design tea via Hangouts from Topshops headquarters.
