In 2001, Timberland started on one of its most important reforestation projects in Inner Mongolia’s Horqin Desert in partnership with a NGO called Green Network. We have planted more than 1.7 million trees over the past 14 years. In 2015, we are going to achieve the milestone of 2 million trees. To celebrate the 2 million trees planted over the past 15 years, and the effort Timberland has done to transform a desert to grassland and forest in Horqin, we are excited to launch the #PlantMyPledge campaign.
Timberland believes that joint activities to address climate change will always be more impactful than individual efforts. By adopting a habit that can create positive impact on oneself and the environment, we can contribute in our own ways to preserve our environment, not just for ourselves, but also for our future generations. Through this campaign, we hope to engage everyone to take part and contribute for a greener and better world.
