A lot of the times, when artists decide to do covers of classic songs, they ruin them by changing notes and adding too much of their own touch to the songs. Then there are times when they just remain faithful to the classic song’s roots, which leads to a fantastic result.
For instance, this Miley Cyrus cover of beloved Christmas classic, “Silent Night.” Without going too much with the notes or pairing the song with her usual wild antics, Cyrus does an impressive cover. All she did was sit on top of a white piano and sing her damn heart out.
Cyrus’ raspy voice really adds that unique touch to this emotional cover of “Silent Night.”
