We thought Valak’s costume (from The Conjuring) would be the most controversial Halloween outfit selection this year, but boy, were we wrong. Famous apparel wizard, Costumeish.com went too far this time with its getup called Parisian Heist Robbery Victim — inspired by Kim Kardashian’s recent horrific Paris robbery incident.
Priced at $69.99 (approx. RM292.63), the costume consists of a white short sexy robe, long black wig, ‘$4 million dollar’ ring, large sunglasses, fake gag and two inches of rope. Seriously, many are calling out the costume maker for being insensitive and offensive as it is absolutely absurd to be capitalising on someone’s misfortune.
What some people would do to get profit is crazy — currently, the online retailer has no intentions of taking it down and it has even been selling well. This is wrong on so many levels and even if the retailer didn’t like Kim K, it’s just stooped to a whole new low.
