They say imitation is the finest form of flattery, but maybe Apple took it a bit too far.
A Reddit user has uploaded pictures of what appears to be the new iPhone 7 Plus, and it did not look good. The phone looks scorched, and the user was not too happy about it. But, unlike the Samsung Galaxy Note 7, which exploded due to battery issues, this phone seems to have exploded during transit.
We still don’t know why the phone exploded, but many are convinced that it is because of an external factor, and not because the phone was faulty. A lot of Apple fans are also asserting that it doesn’t look like an iPhone, but our friends from Lowyat.net think it is indeed an iPhone 7 Plus 128GB Jet Black model.
Apple has not made any comments regarding the incident.
