BarkBuddy is an app that uses the Tinder format to match homeless pooches with potential new owners.
Just like Tinder, the app connects via Facebook and uses your phone’s GPS to find dogs that meet your criteria within your search area.
The information of the dogs are sourced from the databases of rescuers, and each of them have profiles complete with photos as well as vital stats.
Even if you aren’t looking for a new doggy companion, you can still sign up and do some matchmaking yourself by posting doggy profiles on your friends and family’s Facebook timelines.
As of now, BarkBuddy is only available in America and Canada. Hopefully, we can soon use the app locally too!
