The group formed way back in 2000 and are today’s trance music’s hottest trio. Above & Beyond consists of the members Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness, and Paavo Siljamäki. If you’re an avid trance follower, you’ve probably followed them throughout the years and watched them climb up the DJ Mag charts.
Their record label, Anjunabeats, have seen them through the evolution of their music production, from trance to progressive music, and a little bit of dabbling with the house music genre. To add on to that, Above & Beyond also host their own weekly radio show, “Trance Around the World”. Their tracks have been played by world famous DJs such as Armin van Buuren (the current world #1), Gareth Emery, and Ferry Corsten, just to name a few.
Currently placed at world #5, Above & Beyond have recently released their new concept show dubbed as, “The Group Therapy”. And what show would be complete without a world tour?
Yes, you read right!
The trio will be heading our way come 26th of October, to the newly refurbished KL Live to promote “The Group Therapy”. So far, under “The Group Therapy” umbrella, Above & Beyond have successfully churned out two massive dance floor tracks, “Thing Called Love” and “Sun & Moon”. These hit singles off the album have been receiving a lot of airplay around the world and guess what? This is your chance to hear them play it live!
Oh, which brings us back to yet another surprise. When we say, “them”, we mean that for the first time ever, all three members of Above & Beyond (Jono Grant, Paavo Siljamäki and Tony McGuinness) will be hitting the decks of KL Live on Deepavali day.
