You may have noticed that some celebs and models are posting selfies with smudged lipstick on their faces. Well, it’s not quite a makeup faux pas.
These women are the first few people to take part in a social media campaign for a cause, with the hashtag #SmearforSmear.
The campaign is created by U.K.-based Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust in hopes to raise awareness and encourage women to get more regular Pap smears, which are the simplest way to detect cancer.
Many other members of the public have also followed suit to support this important cause.
