FINALLY! The wait is over, and the scatter for names is no longer need! The judging pannel for the next season of American Idol has been revealed!
It is none other than country singer Keith Urban and the current hit popstar Nicki Minaj! Could you have guessed that these two would be part of the American Idol judging pannel?
Earlier today, Keith expressed his excitement for AI‘s upcoming season via Twitter saying “SO excited to be joining the team on @AmericanIdol!!!!!! -KU #idoljudge.”
The Fox network has officially tapped the pair with an announcement, which confirmed the rumors surrounded them both as judges just hours before the first round of auditions for the next season began in New York.
Nicki Minaj said during the auditions she’ll be looking for “a superstar”, which, she explained, is “something that can’t be defined in words”
And, to top is off, Randy Jackson will NOT be leaving his idol seat after all (We guess it got a little too exciting for him!)
So, there you have it, the judges for American Idol will be, Randy Jackson, Mariah Carey, Keith Urban and Nicki Minaj!
