Another sexual assault was reported and this time, it involves a 9-month old baby. This case has been referred to the Malacca Action Group for Parents in Education (Magpie) and it is learnt that the 27-year old mother’s baby could have been raped by their neighbour’s teenage boy.
The mother who worked as a clerk claimed that she found bloodstains on the baby’s diaper when she was cleaning her at home on Tuesday night. The worrying mother then discovered that her baby was bleeding from her vagina.
She quickly brought her daughter to the Kuala Lumpur Hospital for check-up and she was informed that her daughter could have been raped. On the same night, the mother lodged a police report at the Dang Wangi police station.
The mother said that she had sent her baby to the neighbour’s house at around 8.30p.m. and it is believed that the assault was committed then.
Magpie’s chairman, Mak Chee Him claimed that these rape cases involving young sexual victims could be linked to youngsters visiting pornography sites.
He mentioned, “From what we gathered, the clerk had been sending her child to her neighbour’s house since (the child’s) birth and the attack could not likely by a paedophile but probably a teenager who may have watched pornographic films on sites that are widely available on the Internet.”
However, the police said otherwise. Petaling Jaya deputy OCPD Supt Fadil Marsus said, “There are no criminal elements involved in the case. There were no elements of rape or abuse but the case is still under investigation.”
Supt Fadil Marsus declined to elaborate further as the case is still under investigation.
