Ride-hailing app Grab just got a fresh new update across the Southeast Asia in conjunction with the release of the latest Star Wars: The Last Jedi film, and for the next five weeks, all users will get the chance to join in the fight between The Resistance and The First Order to be a part of their preferred military force.
Watch as Star Wars vehicles take over the Grab vehicle icons, giving riders a more interactive and legitimate experience. The Star Wars fever extends from November 14 through the in-app movie-themed challenges, bringing users to a final battle event between the two military forces to decide which would be the last one standing.
Contribute to the team you support in the weekly battle between the two opposing sides, and Grab users of the winning force will be able to get their hands on cool prizes such as a Sphero Droid and Lego Set. On top of this, you can also Grab yourself towards redeeming exclusive Star Wars: The Last Jedi themed prizes and merchandise.
The campaign period is to be extended until mid-December but the confirmed end date of the Star Wars battle is yet to be announced. During this period, look out for The Resistance and First Order car wraps riding on the streets of the city. Who knows? You might just be the lucky one to ride.
