The 9th Annual CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Awards is all about finding new and upcoming designers to fund for a new collection or a new idea. This fund is every fashion designers stepping stone.
Not only fashion designers but fashion icons and other celebrities come together to celebrate a love for fashion. This is also a time to strut their outfits. We’re taking a look at some of the celebrities who turned up at the event, and we analyse what their wearing (for their own good, ofcourse)…
1. Alexa Chung always dresses up like a teenager in the 60s.. well, that’s what we’re seeing. Though, we’re not so fond of her dress- it’s a little too weird for the eyes. Despite that, we love her red shoes.
2. Christina Ricci wore this simple dress that would’ve been perfect if it wasn’t parted into two. Because of that, it looks like she’s wearing a fancy tennis outfit. Don’t you think so?
3. Karlie Kloss is looking like a sexy teacher in her outfit of the night. Adding those glasses to the entire outfit just gives her that sophisticated finish.
4. Allison Williams is looking all bundled up in this soft pink dress – we especially love her shoes!
5. Carolyn Murphy is looking simple and sophisticated in this white dress. We love how she paired it up with silver heels… it gives the entire look a different feel.
6. Coco Rocha isn’t one to fear from colour – and in this splattered orange-like dress, she’s looking oh-so-gorgeous. We also love her neon orange lipstick!
7. Dakota Fanning is a grown woman now. We can’t look at her as that little girl in ‘I am Sam’ – she’s now a brunette too! As for her outfit, it’s a little on the safe side – wearing a peplum dress (which was so last season)… we do like the colour though.
8. Ashley Greene is all laced up in this number. But, we’re not sure why the lace is covering up her hands… it’s a little too much.
9. Miranda Kerr can never go wrong on the red carpet – she’s just one of those people who always know what to wear. We love her shoes the most – and the colour of the dress is just so attractive to the eyes!
10. Emma Stone is looking simple and chic in this outfit. We get a kind of mermaid like feel from this dress… what do you think?
11. Erin Fetherston is pulling off this orange ombré in just the right way! We love it!
12. Liv Tyler is beautiful… but her dress of choice gives us a little headache. Don’t you think so?
