A six-month-old baby suffocated to his death in a blanket at his babysitter’s home.
Reports from China Press and Oriental Daily said that Ammar Arsyad Ahmad Zafwan was unconscious for barely an hour after he was sent to the house in Precinct 9, Putrajaya, at around 8.15 in the morning on Monday.
According to the reports, the baby could have turned and crawled into the blanket on the bed when his babysitter was in the shower.
The babysitter, in her mid 20s, alerted Ammar Arsyad’s father, a civil servant Ahmad Zafwan Sulaiman, 31. A neighbour rushed the baby to the hospital where he was pronounced dead at 5.00pm.
