Singapore Authorities have revoked the working pass of one of 21 Malaysians who were arrested on Saturday at a protest against the outcome of recently-concluded Malaysian GE13 in the May 8 and 11 at Merlion Park.
The Singapore Police Force said that the authorities had also cancelled the visit passes of two of them, while the remaining 18 persons, Singapore Police Force (SPF) said their work passes would be reviewed upon completion of further investigations.
The Singapore Police Force have issued conditional warnings to all 21 employers who took part in the illegal gatherings at Merlion Park will be informed.
Singapore stressed that they did not take any sids in the political affairs of other countries and would work with whoever formed the government. Foreigners living and working in Singapore must abide by the country’s laws. The SPF said foreigners shouldn’t “import” political issues of their countries into Singapore. (Source)
