The Cooler Lumpur Festival — Southeast Asia’s ground-breaking festival of ideas is back! This August, the event returns with its fifth installment titled Notes from The Future, aimed to look at the social, political, technological, and cultural ideas that represent us right now as well as the question of what the future may bring.
The annual festival plays host to a bevy of global writers, artists, thinkers and innovators to create new connections, share new and thought-provoking ideas on top of spark cultural conversations that hit close to home. Let’s talk about the future!
People of all ages from all walks of life are invited to explore the answers in a series of conversations and activities at the festival which include The White Mask Visual Art Exhibition curated by Sharmin Parameswaran (from 14 – 22 August 2017), The Food Fringe Festival Feast, Cooler Lumpur Junior Curated by Makchic, and Journalism Campus.
