Seems like Selena Gomez probably needs to see someone about her new “Fetish“.
Selena’s musizc video dropped on Wednesday brings about a whole new meaning to the word, as we watch her bite into lipstick (eep) and other not-so-edible objects around her house. Her strange snacking habits in the video include biting into a bar of soap, smashing lipstick onto her teeth and sucking on a shard of a broken wine glass.
The video is very mouth focused, kind of like the sensual audio video for the track. There’s even that bit where she uses an eyelash curler on her tongue, and tie a string around it. The vintage-looking wardrobe and props in the video is reminiscent of Lana Del Rey’s signature retro style, probably Gomez’s take on cashing in on the witchy trend.
The video still finds a connection to the song lyrics, which hint at unrequited love. She sings “You got a fetish for my love/I push you out and you come right back,”, but we’ve got a feeling that the guilty pleasure Selena Gomez is singing about refers to her bizarre snack options.
