Netflix series Stranger Things caused a worldwide ruckus (in a good way) when it was first introduced in 2016 and now, it has just been announced that the sci-fi series will return for Season 2 on October 27 2017, four days before Halloween.
Along with the release date comes a brand new Season 2 poster which shows Mike, Dustin, Will and Lucas on their bikes, staring upon an otherworldly beast engulfed in menacing lightning and clouds.
New cast for the upcoming episodes for Stranger Things Season 2 include Paul Reiser, Sean Astin, Sadie Sink, Dacre Montgomery, Linnea Berthelsen and Will Chase.
The official description for Season 2 reads:
It’s 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana are still reeling from the horrors of the Demogorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived.
