New York-based fashion brand Sandy Liang and heritage footwear brand Salomon team up for a second collaboration. The next chapter of the partnership explores the world of Sandy Liang by going beyond the limits of technical footwear to weave in elements of girlhood.
The latest release marks a significant evolution from the first collaboration, further merging the shared worlds to launch two brand-new styles: The Speedcross 3 Ribbon and RX MJ. The relationship between the brands was established at New York Fashion Week in September 2021, which led to Sandy Liang’s reimagination of Salomon icons in 2023.
“Our first collaboration was focused on updating Salomon styles I loved with key elements of nostalgia and femininity,” said Sandy Liang. “This time around, I’m thrilled to expand on my ideas to incorporate my design point-of-view in a more distinctive way.”
Sandy Liang’s design story can be found throughout the collection with signature characteristics such as the pre-styling accents of ribbon detailing, and the functional silhouette of the slip-on for the girl who adventures in the wilderness in her dress.

The Speedcross 3 Ribbon Sandy Liang is a fresh take on the legacy Speedcross 3, a lightweight and highly cushioned trail runner, designed for added protection and stability. The Speedcross 3 Ribbon combines the technical performance of the original with the poetic elegance of ballet. The silhouette is given a delicate touch with pink, satin ribbon that weaves and dances its way from shoe to calf. Available in Black/Cloud Pink and priced at RM899.
Taking inspiration from the traditional Mary-Jane, Sandy Liang introduces the RX MJ, crafted with a feminine touch to seamlessly pair with the princess uniform and withstand long walks in the city or explorations in the countryside. The shoe is a hybrid of the RX MOC 3.0, with comfort features to diversify the wearability and enhance breathability. The latest iteration includes a lightweight cushion constructed for premium comfort with nubuck leather and technical 3D open mesh. Available in Black and Vanilla Ice, and priced at RM899.
