Samsung recently dropped its flagship Galaxy Note 7 smartphone following numerous reported cases of the device catching fire. The tech conglomerate has also since stopped the production of the smartphone entirely.
As several airlines have banned the Galaxy Note 7 on flights with immediate effect, Samsung has issued an official guide for existing Note 7 users who are still holding onto the device and are travelling.
To curb inconvenience, Samsung has gone as far as to setting up booths at KLIA and KLIA2, where users can drop their Galaxy Note 7 smartphone and obtain a loan device at the same booths before getting onboard a flight.
Samsung Galaxy Note 7 users who have yet to get a refund or exchange are urged to contact the Samsung Malaysia Careline immediately at 1-800-88-7799.
