Sam Smith announced that he has recorded the theme song for the new James Bond flick, “Spectre”, and we can’t wait to hear it. “This is one of the highlights of my career,” the British singer tweeted on Tuesday. “I am honoured to finally announce that I will be singing the next Bond theme song.”
Smith mentioned to BBC Radio that he recorded the song in January and had to keep it a secret ever since. The classic love song, called “Writing’s on the Wall“, will be released on September 25. The movie comes out on November 6 in Malaysia.
“I am so excited to be a part of this iconic British legacy and join an incredible line up of some of my biggest musical inspirations,” Smith said in another tweet.
Judging by all his emotional songs like “I’m Not The Only One” and “Stay With Me”, we’re pretty sure his new track is going to be mind-blowing.
