Malaysian’s top designer Rico Rinaldi has teamed up with renowned textile designer from Japan, Tomita Senkogei once again after the triumph from their first brainchild, Summeraya 2016. The creative duo returns to design a Ready-To-Wear (RTW) collection, aptly called Rico Rinaldi x Tomita Senkogei 2017, which debuted last week at Singapore Fashion Week.
Rico & Tomita’s new collection presents Japanese inspired styles, featuring modern kimonos fused with edgy silhouettes and feminine details to bring the fabrics to life. The 2017 range was finely tailored to precision, showcasing the visualisation of autumn leaves, floral motives and embellishments like jewels and feathers on garments.
All 38 looks from the Rico Rinaldi x Tomita Senkogei 2017 runway show is now available for purchase via Zalora Malaysia on a pre-order basis.
