I absolutely love soymilk. Not as a substitute for milk, but the general concept of soymilk itself is something I enjoy. Unfortunately, good soymilk can be expensive, especially if you enjoy it on a daily basis. It may as well be tasty, but with all the added preservatives, additives and not forgetting the sugar and flavor enhancers, you’re better off drinking a bottle of soda.

A lot of people have not been able to get used to soymilk for the reason that it’s made of soy and it’s nothing like milk. Well, having been on a vegan diet, having natural, fresh-made soymilk is nothing like the packaged ones in terms of taste, sweetness and nutrient content. Fresh soymilk is really like drinking something herbal and fresh, and let’s not forget it’s rich in protein.

Here are some of the benefits of soymilk:
♥ It reduces cholesterol and promotes cardiovascular health
♥ It’s rich in essential monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids aka good fats
♥ Prevents strokes and heart attack
♥ Provides hormonal therapy for postmenopausal women
♥ Helps ease menstrual cramps due to high levels of phytoestrogen
♥ Lowers blood testosterone in men and prevent cell mutation

Making your own soymilk need not be difficult. I remember using the old soymilk makers and it can take you up to five hours just to brew a liter of soymilk, and let’s not forget the intense amount of cleaning time!

The Philips Soymilk Maker is a miracle on its own. It doesn’t take up a lot of space, it’s an efficient and independent machine that works wonders. And what’s great is that it has more than one function. If you’re feeling too bored of soymilk, you can even make a fruit paste for desserts or a juice. Yes, it makes juices too and that’s so great, I can’t even begin to explain how excited I am to have this in my kitchen!

If that’s not enough to convince you just how easy it is to use the Philips Soymilk Maker, let this video tutorial show you how you can make your own soymilk in 10 simple steps, without having to look at the instruction manual a hundred times!

The Philips Soymilk Maker comes fully equipped with a cleaning sponge that absorbs and removes any residue from the soymilk maker, ensuring that your next batch is fresh and clean! Morever, it’s lightweight and designed in such a way that it doesn’t take up so much space in your kitchen. The aesthetics is also chic and attractive, that it looks like a cute water container, and not a miracle machine that gives you soymilk, fruit juice and fruit paste!

So what are you waiting for? If you’re a real soymilk addict, get your daily dose of fresh and sugar-free soymilk by investing in the Philips Soymilk Maker!

The Philips Soymilk Maker retails at RM499, and is available at major retailers in the Klang Valley such as Aeon, Harvey Norman and Parkson.
