We were approached by A’aroma Concept Beauty & Spa Boutique a while ago and after recognising its exclusivity of being the only beauty salon throughout Malaysia to utilise products by Aromatherapy Associates for all its treatments, we knew we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to experience it for ourselves.
Featuring three luxurious private rooms including an intimate couple’s suite, A’aroma Concept Beauty & Spa Boutique offers signature Asian and European treatments for both the face and body, designed specifically to suit individual skin needs coupled with massage techniques to restore and recondition the skin.
We settled for the anti-aging Essential Rose Facial comprising regenerative properties of rose and frankincense that encourages cellular renewal and helps prevent wrinkled, dull complexions. As we walked into the cosy and dim-lighted couple’s suite, we already knew our treatment was off to a good start.
Led by a sweet therapist named Season, we took a whiff of lavender essential oil to instantly calm the mind and body. The treatment began with cleansing the skin and exfoliation using a gentle cleanser with jojoba beads. It was followed by a firming facial massage to de-stress and tone up the facial muscles.
After a facial steam and pain free extraction, a rose gel mask was applied to hydrate the skin. To finish off, the skin was nourished with a cream consisting of essential oils to maximise the regenerative effects. Finally, the neck, décolleté area and scalp are massaged with moisturising oils, offering ultimate relaxation and to balance the body’s energy flow.
It’s crucial to point out that this was by far the most relaxing facial treatment we’ve experienced. Season – the therapist – was extremely gentle with my skin, and throughout the entire treatment, she never failed to prompt us before proceeding with other steps. She also made certain that we were relaxed and feeling comfortable every step of the way.
We’d definitely return to A’aroma Concept Beauty & Spa Boutique to try out its other signature treatments. Thus far, we’re impressed!
