With the volumes of new beauty products we get sent weekly, we rarely ever settle with just one skincare range from the same label for our daily skin regime. Having said that, we made an exception for The Face Inc’s Rejuvenate trio after looking up its rave reviews on the Internet.
As we all know, the most common protein in our body – collagen – depletes naturally over time and our poor lifestyle choices, such as smoking, drinking, and consuming tons of sugar, further slows down the synthesis process. What The Face Inc’s Rejuvenate trio is meant to do is nourish the skin from within with active ingredients that prevent collagen breakdown and stimulate its production, while brightening up the complexion and promoting healthier skin. Cell Renewal (RM198, 30ml) – This clear essence contains key ingredients such as retinol, salicylic acid, and green tea leaf extract to increase cell renewal and stimulate collagen production, reducing fine lines and improving the skin’s texture. It smells lovely, and really calms the senses when applied. It also absorbs well and doesn’t leave a tacky film behind.
Collagen Boost (RM288, 30ml) – Meant to target wrinkles, fine lines and expression lines, this milky, oil-free formulation helps prevent the breakdown of collagen while stimulating cell renewal. You could apply it all over to increase overall firmness and elasticity, but we like concentrating the product on areas like the forehead, eye area and laugh lines.
Anti Oxidant (RM268, 30ml) – To further prevent pigmentation and improve skin elasticity, this watery gel packed with Vitamin C controls the effect of photo-damage and slows down premature skin ageing. This vitamin C booster truly brightens the skin’s overall appearance and gently gets rid of skin discolouration after long term use.
We’ve been using The Face Inc’s Rejuvenate trio for about a month and are happy to report that our skin is responding very well. We cannot speak for the prevention of premature ageing in the skin just yet, but we’ve experienced brighter, softer skin with a smoother texture and minimised pores.
On top of that, the trio has changed the way our makeup applies as products now last longer and sit better on the skin, thanks to the improved canvas. We reckon that the trio would work best for those between the ages of 23 and 32 struggling with lacklustre skin that is transitioning.
