Why don’t you do your bit for charity while having fun partying? Retro Sunsplash is back to raise money for the underprivileged, and after several events in Petaling Jaya, the fourth edition is being held for the first time in Kuala Lumpur. Dirty Nelly’s (Life Centre) will host the 90s music themed party, while top local DJs such as Richard Khoo, Sunanda aka DJ Face, Jinggo Bilboa, Jay, Nesh, John Dave, Alfred Low and Nicky Zullu will make sure of an awesome music line up from 4pm to 3am on November 4th.
Money raised during Retro Sunsplash 4 will be donated to Pusat Jagaan Kanak-Kanak Kurang Upaya Kirtarsh in Bukit Beruntung, Rawang. The previous event managed to raise RM16,000 for this centre, and other charity homes (Pusat Penjagaan Kanak-Kanak Cacat Taman Megah and The Agathian Shelter) have also received donations from Retro Sunsplash parties.
Entry for the day is free, and you can donate by contributing to either drink sales or collection boxes around the venue. There’ll also be lucky draw prizes for which tickets only cost RM10. If you play pool, you can join a high stakes British pool competition with an RM50 entry fee.
