Red Carpet Focus: Kristen Stewart

We’re putting Kristen Stewart in the spotlight! With the hype of her new movie, Snow White and The Huntsman.. we feel it’s about time we do a little red carpet re-con on this Twilight star.

Don’t deny that you cringe a little when her name pops up. Known for playing the infamous Bella on Twilight, everyone has stated their opinion on Kristen Stewart, we’re going to break down her good and bad habits on the red carpet.

First of all, we can agree that it is about time that Kristen put those converse shoes away. There is no point wearing heels if your going to take them off the moment you enter the event right? There are certain standards that a celebrity should follow when they are on a red carpet. It’s a pretty disrespectful to the designer of her outfit for her to wear converse shoes. Don’t you guys agree?

If she wants to wear her converse when she’s out on a daily basis, then that’s fine.. But please Kristen, skip the sneakers the next time your on the red carpet.

We understand how the messy look can be considered as ‘sexy’ but Kristen Stewart’s version of messy hair looks way too greasy for our liking. It seems like she hasn’t washed her hair in days, or just comes to events with bed-hair. Considering the income that an actress like her recives, she should EASILY be able to afford some good shampoo and a hairbrush… and even a hairstylist perhaps. It’s about time to treat your hair a little better, Kristen!

Gowns may not be one of Kristens forté and the two outfits above prove our point easily. Turning up in shreds of chiffon is not considered a gown, it just a big fashion mistake. A few months ago, Kristen turned up in too much chiffon at the ‘Snow White and The Huntsman’ premier (on the left). In fact, it looks as if someone just stuck scraps of fabric all over her just to save costs. This was probably one of her worst fashion moves to date. What do you guys think of this look?

On the other hand, she should definitely stick to wearing shirt mini tube dresses and simple heels – it’s the right look for her!

None the less, Kristen Stewart her sweet moments. She has made short tube dresses one of her signature looks and when she wears the right shoes, then she looks great. Then there are the occasional moments when she wears a jaw dropping dress and the right amount of make up and properly done up hair. She should stick to bright red lips – they compliment her pale complexion.

Everyone has a love/hate relationship with Kristen Stewart and her acting – that is something we all have our opinions about, but at the end of the day, she was able to make something out of herself, and hopefully it’s a learning process and things go upwards from now… fingers crossed!
