Ralph Lauren’s magnificent Giant Ricky Bag is taking a tour around Southeast Asia. The red version of the bag will be on display in Kuala Lumpur outside the Ralph Lauren boutique on the ground floor at Suria KLCC. The bag will be on display from the 17th to 25th of October 2015.
The bag took approximately one month to make and requires intricate input from expert artisans. It is outfitted with all the Soft Ricky’s authentic details from he Italian-made leather to its key bell, grommets and functioning lock. The bag stands six feet tall and five feet wide, it is over four times the size of the Soft Ricky bag and weighs around 250 pounds.
The bag was named after Ralph Lauren’s wife and muse and has become the most iconic bag of the Ralph Lauren. The Giant Ricky Bag first made an appearance in September 2013 at Saks Fifth Avenue in New York City. The Giant Ricky Bag has also travelled to Hong Kong and China.
