Transforming American TikTok star, actress, and singer Addison Rae into a modern Marilyn Monroe, Dame Pat McGrath paired the allure of lingerie with a soft, innocent edge. At Coach SS25, Dame Pat McGrath captured the collection’s youthful and offbeat spirit with two subtle eye looks. The first look featured soft, smoky eyes using her iconic Mothership I: Subliminal Palette and PermaGel Ultra Glide Eye Pencil, honouring the individuality of the show’s diverse casting.
For the second look, tiny hearts were drawn at the inner corners of each eye for an unexpected, rebellious twist. “Placing the hearts at the inner corners feels unexpected and slightly rebellious,” Pat said. “The PermaGel Ultra Glide Eye Pencil is great for this look as it’s super saturated and glides on seamlessly. For the Maison Alaïa’s Winter/Spring 2025 collection, Dame Pat McGrath took inspiration from the house’s sculptural silhouettes and iconic neutral colour palette. The study of nude makeup begins with a canvas of luminous, spa-fresh skin using the Skin Fetish: Sublime Perfection System, layering the Primer, Foundation, and Setting Powder so the skin looked naturally radiant. Then, Pat used the Skin Fetish: Divine Bronzer or Skin Fetish: Sublime Perfect Concealers in either two shades lighter or two shades darker than the model’s skin tone to paint a tonal black of colour across each eye. “It’s like colour blocking, but done entirely in nudes, with the graphic shape giving a modern edge to these classic tones.”
