A section of the second Penang bridge which is under construction at Batu Maung collapsed today at 6.50pm today.
Approximately 60m of the bridge section has collapsed onto Jalan Batu Maung below it and a car is believed to be buried under the debris,
Fire and Rescue Department personnel crew are now digging through the debris to see if anyone is trapped underneath.
