Last Wednesday (15 June), Lipstiq had the honour of attending Pandora’s official launch of their 2022 Summer Collection, which was held at a unique and quaint café called The Rabbit Hole. The internationally renowned jewelry brand proudly presented their array of dazzling summer charms and jewellery that exquisitely portray the wonders of the season.
“The collection reflects the beauty and uniqueness of the types of animals that coexist in the ocean. Also, if you look around, you’ll see fruit charms that capture the freshness and energy of summer too,” Satvinder Kaur, Pandora Malaysia’s Marketing Manager.
For this year’s Summer Collection, it’s only natural that Pandora goes big, following two years of lockdown. Hence, the brand presented two different types of summer collections for different occasions, so that everyone who is anyone has a chance to don their opulent jewelry.
The first was the Pandora Moments line, which was inspired by the ocean and summer stories to create the ideal tropical fantasy for individuals who wear the jewellery. With charms like the Lemon Slice Sparkling Fruit Dangle Charm, the Murano Glass Pink Sea Turtle Charm, and a fan favourite, the Murano Glass Bubble Tea Dangle Charm, this collection accentuates the vibrant and luscious colours of summer. Not to mention the one-of-a-kind colour-changing Chameleon Dangle Charm, which changes colour depending on the temperature.
The Pandora ME collection, meanwhile, focuses on the festival look, and was influenced by music, energy and brilliant colours. The Pandora ME Sun Power Medallion and Pandora ME Rainbow Heart of Freedom Medallion were developed with a 60s and 70s aesthetic in mind. Pandora ME is a self-expression of adventure, complete with colourful style embellishments, connectors, micro dangles, and links. This collection is the result of the energy of discovery, the energy of experimenting with style, and the energy of connecting with others.
Thankfully, there was a live styling session with influencer, Nikki Dhillon, who was adorned with a fun summer day look with Pandora Moments jewellery; and a second edgy night look with Pandora ME jewelry to contrast the two different collections which you can wear this summer, all day and night, and create your own summer story.
