Osphena: The Answer to Painful Sex

No longer stuck in the prison of bad sex.

Male sex-aid pills are readily available for men, but what about for us women? We’ve talked about women having low sex drives, but that’s really a psychological matter. One of the common pet peeve women have to endure with sex is well, pain.

Osphena is a hormone-mimicking pill to help women suffering from dyspareunia, which is discomfort and pain during sexual intercourse. Having healthy levels of estrogen is what keeps a woman’s sex drive actively healthy, so if you’re lacking, it does a lot of harm to your desire and uncomfortable sex.

People with dyspareunia tend to have trouble getting ‘wet’, resulting in burning, dryness and sometimes cracking (ack!). Clearly this would mean good sex, so why bother!

However, don’t overreact that your dry vagina’s due to dyspareunia. The woman’s body is truly a complex mechanism and it could even be due to normal symptoms like stress, anxiety or even a diet of junk food. If you feel that you may suffer from dyspareunia, it may be time to visit a doctor first before you come to any rash conclusions.

In our defense, Osphena sounds like a pretty good idea. It has already been approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), so it’s definitely a step up in the pharmaceutical side of women’s health and well-being. Does this mean more women will be having better sex soon? Now, the big question is to wonder when these meds will make their way to Malaysia!
