Lady Gaga, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion and other stars have all done it, and now British boy band One Direction have also added fragrance to their range of fan memorabilia. Launching on 9th September in England, ‘Our Moment’ will be available in the Malaysian market in November, a year after the announcement of the band’s first fragrance for their fans.
The One Direction guys were involved in every step of the process from the scent creation to the bottle’s design and packaging. Fragrance experts Firmenich were roped in to create the fruity floral fragrance that was inspired by and dedicated to One Directioners.
What do One Direction say about ‘Our Moment’? “It’s been a long and exciting process and we’re really proud to have made a One Direction fragrance,” said Harry Styles. Liam Payne adds: “We love the idea behind a fragrance as you mix individual scents to create something so much better!”
The fragrance also went through a ‘test phase’ with the boys’ own family members. “I’ve tested it on my family and they love it – and we can’t wait to show it to our fans across the world,” said Niall Horan.
The pale pink glass bottle hints at the floral notes of ‘Our Moments’, that’s made up of splashes of fresh fruit and seasonal flowers with undertones of warm musk. Fans can expect a playful scent of pink grapefuit, wild berries, jasmine petals and frangipani.
Apart from the perfume, Our Moment also offers a body lotion and shower gel.

The One Direction ‘Our Moment’ perfume is now available! It was launched in Sephora outlets yesterday (Thursday, November 21 2013).
There will be a special consumer event on Sunday, November 24 2013 at Sephora Sunway Pyramid from 3pm to 5pm. You will be able to win some One Direction goodies and also enjoy other small activities.
