Indie phenomenon The xx are set to fill our hearts with maximum emotions in their I See You Tour Asia – Live in Kuala Lumpur, marking the band’s first time performing in this part of the world on 25 January 2018 at MITEC.
The news is too good to be true, (it’s so hard to work when all we wanna do is hyperventilate right now) but it’s really happening! All thanks to our friends at Upfront Arena and Umobile, we’re finally going to see the people who’ve been gracing our ears with hits like “Intro”, “Crystalised” and “Angels” LIVE.
Formed in London in 2005, The xx are Romy Madley Croft, Oliver Sim, and Jamie Smith (aka Jamie xx). The trio rose from obscurity to win the 2010 Mercury Prize for their self-produced debut album ‘xx’, while their follow-up album, 2012’s ‘Coexist’ expands on their signature sound and tender minimalist style.
Featuring a spectacular full-production sound and lights show, you simply cannot miss this rare opportunity to catch one of the world’s most sought-after acts right here in KL.
Tickets are priced from RM220 (early bird) to RM330 (regular), and will go on sale on 18 Oct (10AM) through Ticket Pro. Early bird promo period will end on 19 Oct (10PM), in which general pre-sale tickets will go on sale officially on 20 Oct (10AM).
