We wondered if celebrities celebrated Christmas any differently than us mere mortals so we took to Twitter to check out if there was any truth to them basking in gold coins and receiving Mustangs. Well, looks like we were partially right.
Justin Bieber (@justinbieber) tweeted this Christmastime photo with the caption “Me and the rugrats”
Jessica Alba (facebook.com/jessicaalba) with her mother Cathy Alba on cooking Christmas dinner. According to her, they made yams and fresh Italian bread stuffing, with only one little burn.
Kimora Lee Simmons (@OfficialKimora), mother extraordinaire Twitpics a photo of her three lovely children: Merry Christmas 2 all!! Love, Joy+ Happiness from our family 2 yours! #StBarths #Fabulosity #fb.
Neil Patrick Harris (@actuallynph) said: “As a special holiday surprise, I thought I’d show you a picture my thick noble wood.” We like your sense of humour, Stinson.
Tyra Banks(@tyrabanks) looks gaunt here, perhaps from all the holiday stress but we’d recognize that ‘fierce’ pose from miles away! She says “My Xmas involves crazy hats by all with stuff up n ’em. I’m trying 2 make it fierce but my concoction is kinda whack!”
Our favourite pixie-haired girl Ginnifer Goodwin (@ginnygoodwin) shows off a Weasley inspired sweater given to her by her sister. “Merry/Happy, y’all! Look what my sis @JosiCouture made me! “From The Burrow” if you know what I mean”
Recently single, Ashton Kutcher (@aplusk) looks dashing all bundled up in scarves. “Keeping warm this holiday season, hope everyone is having a good one.”
The ever beautiful Desperate Housewives star, Eva Longoria (@evalongoria) looking all sparkly in her Santa hat on Christmas day wishes everyone “Happy Christmas eve!”
Blue eyed Zooey Deschanel (@zooeydeschanel) poses with her Christmas tree, tweeting “Merry Christmas everyone!”
Looks like Shakira’s (@shakira) been a very good girl this year, we wonder what’s under those silver wrappers…
We haven’t seen Paris Hilton (@parishilton) in awhile but here’s proof that she’s alive and rockin! She tweets “Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night…” Such profound words.
We hardly see celebs captured in lousy pixels but when it happens, it feels realer than all the glam and glitz they’re often surrounded with. The fact that they’re just human and celebrate Christmas like you and me give them a human side, like they’re one of us.
Well, almost. Now on to the new year!
