A 154-second trailer for the latest instalment of the Star Wars franchise, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, just dropped, and it features more of Mark Hamill’s Luke Skywalker, who appears to be back in the force. New cast members who will also be showcased include Laura Dern and Benicio Del Toro whose characters are yet to be disclosed.
The story follows where Star Wars: The Force Awakens left off whereby Rey (Daisy Ridley) seeks the mentorship of Luke on planet Ahch-To. Carrie Fisher, who passed away in December, is also heard as General Leia Organa, alongside Adam Driver, John Boyega and Oscar Isaac.
Judging by this trailer alone, Star Wars: The Last Jedi will surely be a treat for those who have been waiting long and hard. The film premieres in Malaysian theatres on December 14 2017.
