There is a new Snapchat update that may just be the worst one yet – Snap Map allows you to view your friends’ stories on a map with bitmojis representing their location, so you can determine where they are.
Finding out your friends’ locations has never been easier as all you’ve got to do is pinch to zoom the camera, which prompts the map with the bitmojis of your friends to open, then tap to see their snap.
Snapchat clarifies on its blog that the feature allows its users to view everything from breaking news to concerts occurring around the globe, but heck, if this feature isn’t creepy, we don’t know what is..
Putting yourself out there on social media is one thing, but having people track exactly where you are? That’s invasion of privacy, and not to mention, totally unsafe.
Maybe it’s time to finally decide if we should part ways with Snapchat..
